Share your ideas about a graded reader you have read! Help out your classmates by telling them how you liked the book, and perhaps a little bit about what the book was about. Just don't tell them the ending. You can also include the word level, so that other students have an idea of whether that book is at their level. Write a review for just one book you've read, or for as many of the books as you'd like. Help out your classmates, and practice your English!

If you can't remember the exact title, on the class website, click on the page for Graded Readers. There you will find two lists. They both contain the titles of all the books and the word levels. The first list is sorted by title, and the second by word level, then title. Have fun!

Let us know what you have been doing this summer.

I have had a nice summer, entertaining out-of-town relatives, taking a trip to Sequoia National Park, and visiting my daughter in LA. My son also came with us to see some Shakespeare plays in Oregon.

What have you been doing?
Welcome to the blog for the Castro
Valley Adult School Advanced ESL class!

Here we'll discuss topics, ask questions, suggest answers, etc. I hope you have fun participating in this blog!
