Share your ideas about a graded reader you have read! Help out your classmates by telling them how you liked the book, and perhaps a little bit about what the book was about. Just don't tell them the ending. You can also include the word level, so that other students have an idea of whether that book is at their level. Write a review for just one book you've read, or for as many of the books as you'd like. Help out your classmates, and practice your English!
If you can't remember the exact title, on the class website, click on the page for Graded Readers. There you will find two lists. They both contain the titles of all the books and the word levels. The first list is sorted by title, and the second by word level, then title. Have fun!

I choose this book because the book's name.
It seems like a strange story and it really does.
One scientist found a way to make people invisible. That means no one could see him and include himself. It looks a great idea. The invisible man could do any things free.
Wow.....
But, the acts are, he can't walk, because he can't see his foot, he can't dressing, because there is no head on the collar.
Well, the story is pretty exciting and interesting. Please enjoy it just like me.

The story's structure seems like " Olive Twist", but does not as sad as it.
It is a girl struggles for her fate and because of her kindess, patience, the story has a happy ending.
The whole story wrote in well-knit circumstance and smooth way. Do not miss it.

It was a story about the love between a very proud rich gentleman and a wise ordinary young lady. From the beginning to the end of the story, the conversations between people are tactful, humorous in some way, and interesting; and the people in the story who were overly attracted to wealth amazed me and made me laugh.
There were movies made of the story both in black and white, and colors since decays ago. I had seen them all, but I like the black and white one better. It was made in the very old movie fashion, but the words sopken in the movie were almost the same as in the book I read.
It was fun for me to read the book again after I watched the movie, and vise versa.
I strongly recommand the book "Pride and Prejutice" to you.

The book I read is titled "He Knows Too Much".
It was about a man who went through all kind of difficulties to find out the real reason of his being suddenly and unfairly discharged from his job.
The story was a creative writing, I hoped, at the beginning of reading the book. But the more pages I read, the more I fell that a true story was being told, because I had heard so many similar incidents happened in the real world.
I liked the way the writer described how the man's moods and behaviors were affected and changed after he lost his job, but I didn't like the part about the weather, the scenic views were written.

Hi everybody:
At first, I want to tell you that I love everything about murder or mystery, so I've read a lot of books about that, but definitely this one is my favorite.
Dolphin Music is not a murder or mystery book, it's about people who fight against the establihsment which it's cruel, wicked and damaged or killed dolphins to make music (music was created by dolphins).
So, during the lecture you easily identify with the protagonist and his friends ( I cant remember their names, sorry), their values, encourage, feelings, doubts, etc.
Until he achieve his goals, he went through a lot of things : lost his job and life, his girlfriend was murdered, became a fugitive, but......
So, if you want to know how the history ended, the next time you take a book, pick Dolphin Music. I assure you that you wont regret it.

If so, try this book.
This book has a lot of short stories which pages are only about 15 more or less. So you can finish reading the whole story while you wait for someone in the car or before you go to bed.
The stroy is telling about the usual lives.
And remember it is short so not deep-touching story.
The book is titled "Moby Dick"

He had a friend who paint a picture of them,but the picture was painted when he was young and he want to look young again. Increible but after that he made a deal with sombady and the picture look day a day like a old man and he looks young again. I can't understand why he look young again.I would like to read more about more about this history because I think is really interesting , everybody need to know about this history. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI choose this book because I like sci-fi and because I didn't read it yet. It speaks about people that are supposed to be observed for someone called the "Big Brother". People in this fiction world is banned to have dreams, or express love or good feelings. It's very interesting considering it was wrote in 1948. More and more in these days seems to be that this reality proposed is becoming true.

It is a very good novel I have ever seen.The autor named Sue Grafton who has written alphabet mystery series. Since I just started to read two books of hers, I love them so much. She is very smart autor, because she created a woman in the book we feel we know, and we always want to follow her mystery path or clues that she gave us in it,and Sue listed numbers one suspect I thought I know ,but I didn't get right answer,finally in the end of story I could totally understand and agree what She showed us the right one. anyway,

I chose this book because I love romantic stories. This story happens at a beautiful and placid lake district. A city girl and her new jet-skiing boyfriend on their vacation to the lake district. They meet the local vet. But the vet doesn't like them on the first sight. Slowly, the city girl and the vet get to know each other better, what will happen finally? ......
In this book, author uses a lot of adjectives to describe the lake at different time of the day. It is good for our esl students. Please enjoy it!

I thought it was a ghostly story because of the picture of cover.
It is a love story, full filled with mysterious and dramatic context.
It said someone who dropped the world and get it back at the end.
It caught my breath of whole afternoon and evening of this Sunday.
I strongly recommend this book.
Trust me, I have read lots of love story, this one is totaly different.
